Music

Music is such a key ingredient in our worship that great care is taken to ensure it is of the best quality, especially in the choice of hymns.  These are usually fairly traditional, with more child-appropriate material in use at the Family Services.

Choir

All Saints church hs a robed choir at the 9:30am Sunday service who support the singing of hymns, lead the congregation in the Communion setting (Thorne's Mass of St. Thomas), and sing a variety of hymns and anthems during distribution of Communion.

The Choir

From time to time special musical services are held, including Choral Evensong, RSCM festivals, and services appropriate to specific seasons such as Easter and Advent.

Choir practices take place on Wednesday evenings between 7pm and 8.30 pm under the direction of Ian Bysh, our Director of Music. Contact him through our parish office if you are interested in joining the choir.

New singers are always welcome, including "occasional" singers.
