We began the New Year by saying goodbye to our Youth and Children's Worker Laura Barber, and our Vicar, Karen Hutchinson. However, we have appointed a new Children and Families' Worker, Lizzie Toms, who began work in December 2011, and progress is being made in appointing a new Vicar. For more details of this process, see the message from our Churchwardens.

Our Christingle Christmas workshop was a huge success and thoroughly enjoyed by adults and children alike.

Building Projects

Newly restored windows

Work on the removal of render on the West Wall has finally been completed, allowing us to use the West door for weddings once again. However, the theft of lead means that all future restoration projects have to be put on hold until we have repaired the roofs at All Saints.  At St. Mary's, the work has now begun to build a small extension to the south wall to provide a kitchen and toilet and is expected to be completed in January 2012.
