Regular giving

Many of our congregation makes a regular gift, and this is a big help in planning our budget, while also making it straightforward for you. We use the Church of England Parish Giving Scheme (PGS) allowing a donor to set up a direct debit and, if appropriate, to sign a Gift Aid statement. Payments can be anonymous if required with the only person to see the statement is the Parish Giving secretary. There are 3 ways to set up regular giving:

1) Obtain the form from the Parish Giving secretary, Dick Wilkinson, email here

2) Download the PGS form here, print it, fill in the details and post to the PGS address as provided on the form. Information about the form can be downloaded here.

3) Telephone PGS on 0333 002 1271

It is important to enter (or quote if telephoning) our parish code number 170617040 (already on the form). In addition, our parish name is "Crondall and Ewshot", and also please ensure you tick the box on the top right to confirm you have read the information provided with the form.

Legacy giving

A gift in your will to your church is one of the most valuable and lasting ways you can continue to support its mission and ministry. You can leave a fixed sum or a proportion of your residual estate. The PCC will discuss, with your executors, to what use your gift can be put. Please email the Parish Office for further information.

Where does the money go?

100% of our money supports mission.  We give a proportion to support churches and outreach projects through our Parish Share. This is a great example of us all being connected: each parish gives what it can, to be shared out amongst all parishes so that those who have more can help those who have less. It goes towards costs of clergy (and those in training), as well as vital central support roles, such as safeguarding.

We also need to pay for our general running costs, such as heating, lighting, and other bills, and for things like stationery, and loo rolls!

Some of our income is set aside for helping others in our community, and our mission partners abroad.
