 Prayers

Daily Vicarage Reflection

‘Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow but empties today of its strength.’ C. T. Boom

Heavenly father help us to deal with the problems of each day with wisdom and discernment as we make the most of the present and the opportunities it brings. Loving God, guide us we pray. Amen.

Pandemic Prayer

window

Loving God, keep us under the shadow of your wings in this time of uncertainty and fear. Keep us firm in faith and strong in hope as we serve you through those around us, giving help where there is need and conversation where there is loneliness. Give wisdom and and strength to all key workers, and guide our leaders as they work out the way ahead. Renew our trust in your love for us all, through difficult times as well as those of rejoicing. We pray in the strength of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
