Daily Vicarage Reflection

‘The community of love founded by Jesus and the hope of eternal life are bigger than the shadows through which we must pass in the vale of this life.’ Bishop Gregory St Asaph.

Father God, strengthen our faith is your promises to care for us through life, through death and through eternal life, as we pray for our Queen, the Royal Family and all who mourn. Faithful God, hear us and guide us we pray. Amen.

Pandemic Prayer

Loving God, keep us under the shadow of your wings in this time of uncertainty and fear. Keep us firm in faith and strong in hope as we serve you through those around us, giving help where there is need and conversation where there is loneliness. Give wisdom and and strength to all key workers, and guide our leaders as they work out the way ahead. Renew our trust in your love for us all, through difficult times as well as those of rejoicing. We pray in the strength of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
