Church Stewardship

Daily Vicarage Reflection

'Let us be thankful for fools. But for them the rest of us could not succeed.' M. Twain.
Father God, give us your wisdom and discernment so we can understand what motivates others to act, and do what we can for the common good. Loving God, hear our prayer we pray. Amen.

Pandemic Prayer

Loving God, keep us under the shadow of your wings in this time of uncertainty and fear. Keep us firm in faith and strong in hope as we serve you through those around us, giving help where there is need and conversation where there is loneliness. Give wisdom and and strength to all key workers, and guide our leaders as they work out the way ahead. Renew our trust in your love for us all, through difficult times as well as those of rejoicing. We pray in the strength of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
